May 6th 2020 - Luke Durbin

On December 8th 2019, Missing The Missing featured Luke Durbin on episode #10, released on video at YouTube and subsequently in podcast form. Sadly, there had been little coverage of Luke's case in the True Crime community, and we sought to change that. Four months after our coverage of the case, a new documentary was released on UK Channel 5 - Missing or Murdered - Luke Durbin. The documentary catapulted Luke's case into the limelight and gave it the attention it so desperately needed. In the aftermath, The Steeples Times featured an article on Luke's disappearance, and publicised our video.

May 6th 2019 - Ashley Max Domenic Pereira

On March 6th 2019, Missing The Missing featured Ashley in a post on our Facebook page. On the 17th anniversary of his disappearance, we  knew that hope was not yet lost. There was just one picture available of Ashley - on his Interpol Yellow Notice. There were no posters. We felt it was important that people know about Ashley and were able to put a face to a name, to re-humanise him. We created a poster and shared it. In tragic circumstances, on May 6th 2019, his body was located in a freezer off a cliff in Port Burwell, Canada. Two men were later charged with murder in his case. Although devastating news, the development ended the family's limbo, and allowed them to start on their path to  justice. Thank you to everybody who took the time to acknowledge Ashley. Let's hope peace finds it's way swiftly to those affected.
